Whether your cooking at a family BBQ or concert tailgate, these burgers never disappoint. Thick and juicy, the idea with the spices is to enhance the meat, not overpower the natural flavor. I don't like to use specific measurements for the spices, so instead I just shake the spice over the bowl for a few seconds (Count by one-Mississippi). Go big and top your burger with any and all condiments for maximum dieselness.
2 lbs. Ground Beef
½ Chopped Onions, Finely Diced
3 Second Shake of Pepper
3 Second Shake of Salt
2 Second Shake of Lawry's Seasoned Salt
2 Second Shake of Paprika
1 Second Shake of Garlic Salt
1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoon of Your Favorite BBQ Sauce
Good Deli Bun, Toasted
American Cheese
Mayo
Ketchup
Lettuce
Tomato
Pickles
In a large mixing bowl, combine meat, onions, spices, soy sauce and BBQ sauce. Roll your sleeves up and mix everything with your hands. Shape into large patties (the bigger the better) and grill on medium high. Cook until desired temperature (I go with medium-well). Toast your bun, throw on some cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayo, pickles and feast. Serve with some quality potato chips (Cape Cod) or homemade potato salad.
